WHO WE ARE
Hi there! I'm Nicole, the sole owner of Taurean EV. I have always been conscientious of the environment, but once I gave birth to my first child in 2021 I was fueled with an even greater desire to make a positive impact on the environment.
Born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, the automotive capital of Canada, I have always been surrounded by cars, cars, cars and more cars. My father is a tool and die maker, my older brother is a mechanic, my partner is an automotive engineer, and several of my friends and family work within the automotive industry. It’s safe to say that a significant portion of my life has involved vehicles, so why not join in on the fun?
We all know how popular gas-powered vehicles are in North America. They are found everywhere and have provided us with such ease and convenience to travel near and far for over a century. We also know that these fantastic machines won’t be disappearing anytime soon (sorry unicycles, I think your turn to be #1 will have to wait), but they are evolving, and pumping your car with gasoline will soon be a thing of the past.
EVs ARE THE FUTURE. They're a greener choice for our environment as they contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and they are more cost-effective in the long-term. Yet, they operate in almost the exact same manner to allow us to get from Point A to Point B; however, instead of stopping for gas when you’re running late for work, you’ll be able to charge up your vehicle overnight from the comfort of your own home. Conversely, if you're a business owner, you could install a charger, or 47, to allow your valued customers to charge up while they’re shopping in your store, eating your delicious food, breaking a sweat during spin class, etc.
